Zviad Michilashvili successfully performs works of Georgian folk music and Georgian composers in Georgia, Europe, the United States and many other countries. He is a soloist at the Holy Trinity Patriarchate as well as the State Folk Ensemble “Basiani”. He was born in 1981 in Tbilisi, where he started his musical journey. From 1988 to 1999 he sang in the folk ensemble “Boys”, a male vocal ensemble of Georgian folk music. In 1992 he graduated from Tbilisi’s N28 Music School. Then he studied choral-conducting at Tbilisi Music College N3 and the State University of Culture. This is his first appearance with the IPO.
