What age did you begin playing a musical instrument?
I started playing the bass guitar at age 10 and double bass at age 14.

Name an unforgettable moment with the IPO
1. The concert with Riccardo Muti as part of the festival we had during the 80th season, in which we recreated the same program of the very first concert of the IPO (before Israel’s independence)
2. The final chord of Mahler’s 2nd symphony we played on Zubin Mehta’s last concert with us.

What do you love to do off stage?
Playing soccer (and watching as well)

Which kind of music would we find on your playlist?
The Beatles – through them I started playing to begin with.

Did you acquire any new skills during the pandemic?
I got much better at playing the piano – the most rewarding instrument for solo playing…
