What age did you begin playing a musical instrument?
Playing (in general) I started when I was 7, and specifically the clarinet I started when I was 17.

What age did you understand that you wish to pursue a musical career?
When I was 19 years old.

Name an unforgettable moment with the IPO
The concert I initiated conducted by maestro Mehta, for humanitarian conditions for Gilad Shalit (July 5th, 2010)

What do you love to do off stage?
Make a difference in people’s lives – listen to their desirable outcomes in life and empower them to reach there.

Which kind of music would we find on your playlist?
Israeli songs mainly, as well as symphonic music.

What is the special significance of the IPO to you/Why did you want to be part of the IPO?
For me it is an incredible workplace! We make music, which I love, on the highest level, and we get the most incredible guest artists of the classical music world specifically, but the world of culture in general as well. Also the offices around the orchestra are doing a phenomenal job. There is so much creativity from both the musicians and the administration. I used to go to the IPO’s concerts already as a little girl with my parents, and for me, the IPO has always been an admirable institution.

Did you acquire any new skills during the pandemic?
The use of Zoom.

How can we keep classical music and live performances relevant in the digital era?
Investing in education, collaborate with different arts and cultural organizations, and keep thinking creatively and come up with new ideas, as we have been doing in this period.

Something you wish to share about yourself?
I miss playing together in front of our audience so so so much! As well as traveling abroad and performing in front of our global audience!
