Name an unforgettable moment with the IPO
When I was fortunate enough to get to perform as a soloist with the orchestra under the baton of Zubin Mehta with Haydn’s cello concerto in D Major. The Maestro was so warm and supportive and it was the most nerve wracking and exciting concert of my entire career. Another unforgettable moment was when I got to play the beautiful cello solo in the 2nd piano concerto by Brahms, with Yefim Bronfman and Zubin Mehta.

What do you love to do off- stage?
Cooking, playing tennis and taking my two year old daughter to the playground.

At the moment children’s songs mostly…

Did you acquire any new skills during the pandemic?
I developed my ability to initiate and plan concerts. I have organized multiple chamber concerts in different houses which I performed at with my colleagues from the orchestra. The combination of an audience who is yearning for live music, and us the musicians who are yearning for sharing our music, made some incredibly touching experiences.
