Daniel Aizenshtadt was born in Israel in 1992. He began studying the violin at the age of 9 with his mother Tania Aizenshtadt, continuing his studies with Irina Etigon and Irena Svetlova. With full scholarships, Daniel pursued Bachelor’s degree in New England Conservatory in Boston under Miriam Fried, Master’s degree at Rice University in Houston with Cho-Liang Lin and the prestigious Artist Diploma in Indiana University Bloomington with Grigory Kalinovsky. Daniel is the 1st prize winner of the 2014 Aviv competition, as well as recipient of excellence scholarships from the America-Israel cultural foundation. As a soloist, Daniel performed with the Israel Philharmonic, the Israel Camerata Jerusalem, L’european Romantique in Paris, the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion, Haifa symphony and Tel-Aviv Soloists Ensemble. During 2018-2021, he was the concertmaster of Terre Haute Symphony and Columbus Indiana Philharmonic orchestras. Daniel participated in festivals of the Jerusalem Music Centre, the Heifetz institute’s Ashkenazy-Kirshbaum chamber music program and Keshet Eilon.
He currently performs on a violin made by Pressenda generously loaned to him by the Yehuda Zisapel foundation. Daniel started playing in the Israel Philharmonic in the 2021-2022 season.
