Anna Denisova has recently debuted as Brigitte in Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta with the Berlin Philharmonic and Festspielhaus Baden-Baden under the baton of Kirill Petrenko, and at Teatro alla Scala Milano as Kseniya in Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov. Her past engagements include performances at Opéra de Lyon, Opera North Leeds and the Mariinsky Theatre St. Petersburg. Anna Denisova graduated from the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatoire in 2016 and made her Mariinsky Theatre debut as Prilepa in Tchaikovsky’s Pique Dame in 2015. She is the prize-winner at the International Glinka Competition of Vocalists, the second prize-winner at the VIII International Klaudia Taev Competition in Pärnu (Estonia, 2013) and the first prize-winner at the International Jakub Pustina Vocal Competition (Czech Republic, 2014). This is her first appearance with the Israel Philharmonic.
