Lavinia Bini graduated with honor from the Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini in Florence. She won the Renata Tebaldi International Competition. Since her debut as Despina in Mozart’s Così Fan Tutte at the Eurofestival in Rome, she has appeared with numerous Italian opera houses, including Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Ravenna, Arena di Verona, Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, Teatro Regio in Turin, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa, Teatro del Maggio Musicale in Florence, La Scala in Milan, as well as at Teatro Colòn in Buenos Aires, Opéra Royal de Wallonie in Liège, Opéra national de Lorraine, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris and more. Her festival appearances include Salzburg, Macerata Opera Festival and Martina Franca. This is her first appearance with the Israel Philharmonic.
