I began playing at the age of 6.

I always knew that I’ll be a musician because I’m coming from a musical family with at least 4 generations of musicians.

My first rehearsal; a program of the “IPO in Jeans” concert with maestro Mehta in 2013.

What do you love to do off stage?
I’m an active person so I love to do sports like weight training and Martial Arts. I love cooking and I’m an amateur barista and a coffee enthusiast…

Which kind of music would we find on your playlist?
Romanian folk, Gypsy Jazz and hardcore music for my training sessions.

What is the special significance of the IPO to you/Why did you want to be part of the IPO?
After watching a concert on Mezzo with maestro Mehta and the IPO, I completely fell in love with this orchestra. I was about 12, and I asked my cousin: “who’s that?” and he answered: “that’s Zubin Mehta and The Israel Philharmonic!” It was love at first sight…

Did you acquire any new skills during the pandemic?
Cooking Indian curries… 🙂

How can we keep classical music and live performances relevant in the digital era?
Nothing compares to a live performance, and people who attended a live concert even once in their life, would always prefer coming and being a part of this incomparable experience.
