Alevtyna Rakhmanina, born on December 15, 2002, in Kyiv, Ukraine, began playing the violin at the age of 4. She graduated from Kyiv Secondary Specialized Music School named after M.V. Lysenko in 2020 and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in violin performance and orchestra training at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music, set to graduate in 2024.
Alevtyna has been a member of the Youth Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine and has participated in numerous prestigious festivals and projects. She has attended master classes with renowned violinists and conductors and has performed solo and with leading orchestras, including the Buchmann-Mehta Symphony Orchestra. Alevtyna has extensive experience in chamber music, winning the BMSM chamber music competition in 2023 and performing various ensemble roles.
