A new season at the Philharmonic
Dear audience,
We will open the upcoming season exactly one year after the events of October 7th, when our lives were changed. Since the foundation of the State of Israel, our orchestra has been an inseparable part of the Israeli cultural scene, accompanying national crises, wars, political upheavals and even a pandemic. Like all of our citizens, we in the orchestra feel that Israel has never experienced anything similar to the events of October 7th and the subsequent war, and nothing has prepared us for how to deal with them.
