I was born in Israel to a family who supported and encouraged my pursuit of music. I am married to Micha Davis, Bass Trombonist of the IPO. Together we raised four children, all of whom play musical instruments, and we all play together on different occasions. I graduated from Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, and then served in the IDF Orchestra during the pivotal period of the Egypt-Israel peace treaty implementation (we played in all the ceremonies marking the return of lands to Egypt). One of my clarinet teachers was Mr. Richard Lesser (of blessed memory) with whom I studied in the Tel Aviv Academy of Music. I started to perform as a professional orchestra player in The Israel Sinfonietta Beer Sheva, and I also played in The Israeli Symphony Orchestra Rishon Lezion during its inaugural year. I am a member of the Israel Philharmonic since 1989. I have been participating in versatile chamber music ensembles. I also had the privilege of playing with a woodwind quintet comprised of IPO members in the Taj Mahal in India, as well as for Hussein, King of Jordan, in his palace in Aqaba.
